So, all the hard running is done, the last training session has taken place, the kit has arrived (well most of it!) and we've all checked in online...well I hope we have. Point is, we're all fired up up and ready to go! We fly out first thing tomorrow via London then its on to the opening ceremony tomorrow afternoon...
The Schedule is out on the website and sees both teams face 7 games in the first 2 days. The opening games are tough too with Ireland A facing the Germans and Ireland B facing Finland, both countries with pedigree and experience at this level.
Also on the site is a full programme for the week - Showcase games (Germany vs. Austria is the opening gmae - spicy!), trading nights, a visit to an amusement park and even a party at the Moulin Rouge :) It's going to be some week!
At most interntaional tournaments there is access rto WiFi and presuming that is the case in Vienna, we will be able to keep you updated with exactly how gamesd went (opposed to just results), with some pictures and with the views of a few of the players too.
The IFDA also has Twitter account called IFDA News which will be updated via text wherever and whenever possible.
Okay, that it for now, next post will be from Austria!
Come on Ireland!!
